All the main 787 structures have arrived at Boeing’s Everett pant, and final assembly of the first Dreamliner is about to start.

The final large structure arrived early Wednesday morning on the Dreamlifter (Large Cargo Freighter) from Charleston, S.C. The integrated midbody fuselage consists of section 43, a forward fuselage section made by Kawasaki Heavy Industries; section 11/45, the center wheel well and center wing tank, made by KHI and Fuji Heavy Industries and joined at FHI; and sections 44 and 46, center fuselage sections made by Alenia Aeronautica.

Those various parts were joined at Global Aeronautica in Charleston. The fuselage measures 84 feet long and 19 feet in diameter.

Below is part of the Boeing news release about the final 787 delivery for the first plane. With all the main structures in Everett, Boeing can now begin final assembly of the first plane, which will be rolled out to the public on July 8.
